The Renegade Story

In 2008 prior to starting Digital Royalty, Amy Jo Martin, worked for the Phoenix Suns as the Director of Digital Media and Research. Due to her addiction to curiosity and change, she experimented with social platforms tools and encouraged the NBA league front office and team (ex: Shaquille O’Neal) to embrace the communication tools in effort to better connect with fans.

Let’s just say her curiosity and persistence created a bit of healthy tension in the front office because there were no official “rules” for this new social media thing. One day on the team plane after helping Shaquille again with his social presence Amy Jo’s boss called her a Renegade. Digital Royalty was born and the rest is history in the making. More than six years later the Digital Royalty team continues to grow with their HQ office in Downtown Las Vegas and international hub in London.
